I'm a mom of 5, and grandmother of 5 little boys all under 5. Lol, that's a lot of 5's. I'm heading toward age 45 as well. I'm married to my best friend and biggest fan. He is my cheerleader in this dream.

The last time I skated was about 1985 and that was on an outdoor rink. I could never afford lessons and the indoor rink was about 25 miles away and there was no car to take me or money. I hung up my skates.

Fast forward 30+ years and I'm ready to chase my child hood dream of figure skating. My goal is to make it to adult nationals and hopefully place.

As a child we were poor, very poor and my dreams of being a figure skater got lost in "life" happening. So here I am.

This blog is a mixture of new beginnings and to show how even at mid-life we can keep chasing dreams.
